Tucked into the quiet, established heart of Montemar, one of Benissa Costa's most desirable residential enclaves, this detached villa with an internal staircase embodies classic Mediterranean charm on a generous corner plot of 1,056 m² and is ready for renovation. From here, the outlook is fantastic: uninterrupted views stretch across the valley and out to sea, framing the harbour of Moraira in the distance and making this a genuinely rare investment along the Costa Blanca. With a multi-level design, there are 235 m² spread over two floors, this villa presents a wonderful opportunity for buyers with a vision. The traditional finishes, from the textured walls to the layered floor plan, are ripe for a contemporary refresh that would unlock considerable added value. The upper floor forms the heart of the home, where a light-filled living room built around a wood-burning stove sits alongside a separate dining area, both angled to make the most of the sea and Moraira views. A newly refurbished kitchen, a spacious family bathroom, and two generous double bedrooms complete this level. Downstairs, a practical entrance hall with built-in storage opens onto three further double bedrooms and a guest bathroom. The standout here is the principal bedroom, which enjoys its own newly refitted en-suite bathroom and views reaching towards the port. Outdoor living is very much part of the appeal. Above the private garage, which comes with an electric gate and its own water and power supply, a sun-drenched terrace offers the perfect vantage point for watching the sun set over the sea and valley. The south-facing garden guarantees light throughout the year and currently features a paved terrace, a timber pergola, and a jacuzzi. With its flat, expansive layout, the plot lends itself easily to the addition of a bespoke swimming pool, opening up exciting possibilities for the outdoor space. On the practical side, the home is warmed by a central heating system with a diesel boiler installed as recently as December 2025, and stays well connected with fibre optic internet reaching speeds of up to 950 Mbps. The setting could hardly be more convenient, with the lively centres, beaches, and amenities of Benissa, Moraira, and Teulada all within an easy eight-minute drive. Full of character, space, and potential, this is a villa waiting for someone to write its next chapter. Set between the rolling hills and the Mediterranean coastline, the Benissa Costa area is known for its relaxed pace of life, well-regarded golf courses, and easy access to the marinas and beach clubs of nearby Moraira, making it a lasting favourite among those seeking a permanent or holiday base on the Costa Blanca.
