For long term rentals in Spain we understand a contract of at least one year in which we as Select Estates take on a mediating role. This means that we bring the tenant and landlord together for a suitable match. The rental contract will be drawn up according to the current legal provisions of the rental law in Spain. The most common conditions that are used for long term rentals in Spain are:
Deposit (á 2 months, this is separate from the first month's rent)
The costs of the utilities are for the account of the tenant
Costs of pool and garden maintenance are for the tenant
In case of an apartment complex; service costs are for the landlord
The other costs such as taxes, etc, are for the landlord.
